Prohelion is an Australian-owned company, established in 2016, specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of advanced Battery Management Systems (BMS). Their systems are engineered to support a wide range of battery chemistries and configurations, from kilowatt-hour to megawatt-hour capacities. They also offer bespoke battery solutions, integrating their BMS technology into custom battery designs to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Prohelion have provided us with their D1000 Gen 2 Battery Management System (BMS), D1000 Gen 2 Cell Management Units (CMU), Battery Junction Units (BJU), access to their proprietary Battery Management Software, Profinity+, and their consulting services.

Being a Sovereign Brisbane-based capability, Prohelion can design and manufacture proprietary Battery Management Systems with in-house prototyping capabilities. Being Australian owned and operated, they are one of a few in the country that provide vertically integrated end-to-end systems, a proprietary Battery Management Software and expertise in thermal runaway mitigation.

With safety being paramount at Academy Racing, the Prohelion system ensures the work on the Accumulator occurs in a safe manner while providing critical monitoring points.
