DRIVER LEAD - HARRY BLIGH

I’m Harry, I was born in Central West NSW where I spent most of my younger years. I grew up obsessed with anything that moved quickly, which became a great passion for motorsport. I am a second year student studying a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, with my primary Academy Racing role for this year being the driver training program, with secondary roles in driver interfaces and the drivetrain. After an exciting year working across the entirety of the mechanical side of MD25 and a year as a Mechanic in 2024, I'm ready, with the team, to help bring innovation and success in 2026.

SCRUTINEERING - LUCAS THOMPSON

My name is Lucas and I’m the Scrutineering Lead for 2026. As a second year RAAF Officer Cadet studying a Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering, I am particularly interested in the design and manufacture of new and integrated systems especially those on our car.

I was born and raised on the coast of NSW and grew up with a passion for designing and building driven by Lego. From there, this passion grew into more real world applications of design and manufacture.

As the scutineering lead, I work closely with all other system leads, covering off all basis of both mechanical and electrical subsystems. This is to ensure all aspects of the car, new and existing, comply with safety requirements and are ultimately designed in a manner which optimises overall performance.
