Sponsoring the Academy Racing Team

Our Team

Academy Racing is the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) and University of New South Wales – Canberra’s team. We are made up of highly motivated university students composed of Officer Cadets, Midshipmen and civilian students in the STEM field. This year, our car ‘MD25’ will be the team's first running, rules compliant, fully electric car. Led by Army Officer Cadet Henry Lipshut, our team of aspiring engineers, ADF Officers, drivers, business students and motorsport enthusiasts intend on taking the 2025 car to Calder Park Motor Raceway, Victoria in December to undergo the challenges of the FSAE-A competition.

What we’re asking for

As with all motorsport activities, the FSAE competition has costs to develop, manufacture and buy parts. Our team would benefit significantly from your help through ways such as funding, or subsidised parts/materials.
