AERO LEAD - DOM COLAGUIRI

My name is Dominic and I am the Aerodynamics Lead for the UNSW Canberra Formula SAE team, responsible for the design, analysis, and testing of aerodynamic components that maximise vehicle performance. 

Passionate about motorsport engineering, I am particularly inspired by the technical challenges seen in Formula 1, MotoGP, and endurance racing at Bathurst. 

My engineering philosophy is strongly influenced by Gordon Murray, whose innovative and lightweight design approach continues to shape modern race car engineering. 

Within the team, I focus on combining practical manufacturing constraints with aerodynamic efficiency to produce competitive solutions. My goal is to push the car’s performance envelope while developing reliable, well-engineered systems.
